CalMaster Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CalMaster mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by the CalMaster team ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service description

CalMaster is a calorie and fitness tracking app. It lets you log meals and exercises, view daily and multi-day summaries, and optionally use AI-assisted food photo and exercise video analysis. The Service is provided for personal, non-medical use only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CalMaster. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and pricing

CalMaster offers the following plans, billed through your Apple ID:

Prices are shown in Australian Dollars and may be displayed to you in your local currency by the App Store. Applicable taxes may apply.

4. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period at the price of the plan you selected. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

5. Free trial

The Monthly plan includes a 4-day free trial for first-time subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your Apple ID will be charged the monthly price and the subscription will continue to renew monthly. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the food logs, exercise logs, photos, videos, and other information you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including (but not limited to) reverse-engineering the app, interfering with its operation, submitting content that violates the rights of others, or using the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

9. Not medical advice

CalMaster is a wellness and tracking tool. It does not provide medical, nutritional, or fitness advice and is not a substitute for professional guidance. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet or exercise routine, especially if you have a medical condition.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Apple EULA

To the extent these Terms do not address a given topic, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and is entitled to enforce them against you as applicable.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You can delete your account from within the app (Profile → Delete account) or by contacting us at manuelrodriguez8958@gmail.com.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
